Work Experience programmes are available for students at Key Stage 4 and 5 which includes specialist programmes for Study Programmes,SEND, Studio Schools and UTCs designed to meet curriculum needs. "Motivational" Placements over extended periods are available for students who would benefit from a more supported experience. All services are completely tailor made to fit your needs and can be purchased individually or as part of a broader package with other services such as Enterprise and Careers Advice.

Block work experience packages for 1 or 2 weeks are available as a Self Placement Model (where students source their own placements) or a Full Service Model; a mixture of Self Placements and high quality placements sourced by Mploy. Regardless of the model, all placements are fully H&S vetted ensuring students are safe and secure in suitable placements.

CASE STUDY: The Whitby High School, Ellesmere Port

Post 16 work experience placements have been organised for Whitby High School in sector specific areas - Health and Social Care , and Travel and Tourism that has involved sourcing employers in these sectors and Health and Safety assessing them to ensure the safety of students. In addition work experience for the whole of Year 10 was organised , and the school have also bought into the Careers Adviser service and Enterprise Days as they were keen to provide a whole package of activities for students.

CASE STUDY: The Studio@Knutsford

Vocationally linked work placements for students in Years 10 through to 13 have been organised on rolling programmes with students having access to a wide variety of placements. Examples of placements linked to the curriculum areas are Business & IT, Sport, Art & Design and Creative & Media.
